Alejandro Fernández and his daughter, Camila Fernández, performed together for the very first time during ‘El Potrillo’s’ Mexican Independence Day concert at the MGM in Las Vegas last year. The 18-year-old impressed the audience with her vocals when she joined her dad in a duet version of “Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti,” which left many wondering if she was going to follow her family’s steps in the music business.
A year later, Vicente Fernández’ grand daughter is ready to conquer the music world with her first record deal next to Universal Music and Infinity, a new platform managed by Grupo Fernández that aims to support new artists. “Without a doubt today has been one of the best days of my life. With faith, work, and will, everything can be reached. I want to share a little bit of what I lived today. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thank you for being with me on this day,” wrote Camila on her official Instagram account.
The proud father also shared a beautiful message dedicated to his daughter on social media: “I am very proud of you Cami! A lot of success in this new stage in your life!! Music is a career that requires a lot of dedication and effort. I love you.”
